Practice this soothing and insightful sequence whenever you see a matter arising in your life that needs some quiet introspection. When we take the time to put a matter down, instead of turning it over and over, we gather our energy inwards. When we then focus that gathered energy completely on this present moment in time, it is quiet miraculous the insights that come in. Often these insights contain a real sense of clarity and arise from a different lens than what you normally filter through. When applied to the matters arising, you may find yourself navigating through them with a greater sense of ease and freedom. This sequence incorporates movements that encourage you to draw your senses inwards. As your senses draw inward your mind will follow. If you find it difficult to achieve the full version of Tortoise pose, use a strap behind the back, of just stay the legs outstretched and the arms under the thighs.
